Legal Secretarial Support Manager


We’re currently recruiting for a Legal Secretarial Support Manager to join a large national law firm, known for its beautiful offices and supportive, collaborative culture.

This is a key role where you’ll oversee the delivery of high-quality legal support services, manage the day-to-day operations of Legal and Team Assistants, and act as a central point of contact across the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage team performance, development, and wellbeing.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, including resource planning and workload allocation.
  • Build strong relationships with fee earners to support client delivery.
  • Manage team structure, headcount, and budget requirements.
  • Drive process improvements and lead team meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with firm policies and operational standards.
About You

  • Experience as a Practice Support Manager within legal, or a similar management role within professional services.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage a range of stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Proactive, forward-thinking, and solutions-focused.
  • Confident leader with a supportive and approachable management style.
