My client is a highly respected public sector organisation with a new opportunity for a Board/Committee Secretary to provide governance support to the Boards and Committees in fulfilling their responsibilities. The role will support the Governance and Audit Manager on governance requirements, best practice and Citizen operations and service delivery. This role will be hybrid with 2/3 days in the office. Free parking onsite.

The role will entail:
Attending boards and committees to provide advice and to produce accurate and comprehensive minutes
Managing the governance database which will include creating meetings, reports and agendas but also uploading documents
Preparing corporate correspondence for the board
Liaising with all stakeholders in producing timely board reports
Dealing with legal documents and governance related returns ensuring they meet regulatory guidelines.
Maintain an agenda of reports and minutes and a register of decisions and providing advice and support on governance approaches and documents.

Applicants will have experience of minuting, supporting, organising Board Committees meetings and have good knowledge of the governance process in a similar environment.
