International Firm based in Birmingham is looking to recruit a Marketing and Business Development Manager. This role is a mixture of Marcomms and Business Development.

This is a fast-paced role with high expectations of achieving measurable success in supporting client conversations, brand awareness and revenue generation. There is considerable time spent working with Partners, requiring effective preparation, insight and time management to ensure drive add value into every interaction and output. You will be working with the Senior Manager on all aspects of strategy, BD and content-led campaigns. You will work as a key part of the wider business and marketing team, drawing in and working on, key campaigns and activities relevant to the  group, alongside others teams on firm-wide projects.

You will be working directly with department leads on identifying and interpreting trends, deciding what actionable response and market positioning should be.

The role will entail but is not limited to:

•     The Design and delivery of campaign plans for the departments and the teams within, unifying the different projects within the market and client strategy

•     Responsible for managing the delivery of all marketing activity relating to each aspect of the campaigns, aligning with others to execute events, marketing communications and online presence across various digital platforms

•     Close collaboration with stakeholders and working closely with the PR team to ensure that key messages to market are amplified through PR strategy and that the PR and marketing activities are synchronised

•     Liaising with industry trade bodies and other outside parties, in proactively research projects and other opportunities

• Challenge traditional marketing techniques and embracing technology and cutting-edge approaches to drive connectivity with their client base.

Applicants must be experienced in marketing, communications, business development in a legal or financial services environment is essential. This role requires someone who can work autonomously reporting into a progressive charismatic manager who would is focused on people development and challenging thinking to adapt to change.
