We are looking for a fantastic paralegal to join a global company in their inhouse legal department. This is a fantastic opportunity for a law grad with strong academics to kickstart your career, gaining exposure to all aspects of inhouse legal. The role will involve supporting the Head of Legal Counsel and their team in a very varied position.

Duties will include:

Dealing with licensing agreements

Undertaking research regarding trademark breaches, issuing proceeding via their solicitor as necessary

General commercial legal work such as terms & conditions, sale of goods, Intellectual Property, insurance type matters

Dealing with issues within contracts, employments and a huge variety of corporate work areas

Dealing with GDPR, privacy and data security

Assisting the Head of Legal Counsel and he rest of the team with various duties as required

This is a really broad legal role with a strong commercial focused, covering varied corporate work. The ideal candidate will have a 2:1 law degree, and preferably have also completed their LPC and have some office experience. You will be keen to have a career in inhouse legal and be willing to learn and develop in a supportive team who are advocates of employee development and want to help you further your career within a global company. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity, based in their North Birmingham office, and is paying up to £25k annually.
