We are currently promoting a fantastic opportunity for a penultimate year undergraduate student to complete their placement year within our organisation. Situated in our brand-new Jewellery Quarter offices this position is working within our ‘AM CityGrad’ team. You will be working within a small friendly and collaborative team environment as a Marketing, PR and Events Coordinator. AM CityGrad specialise in supporting students and graduates into employment through our innovative online platform as well as regular skills workshops that we run throughout the year.

This position starts in late July. Applicants will currently be in Higher Education and looking to complete a 10 month placement as part of their degree. No previous experience is necessary.

The successful student will be responsible for assisting with the branding of several marketing campaigns. Knowledge of creative suite packages such as Adobe will be desirable. You will be tasked with marketing and promoting our services via a number of channels including social media, our website and direct mailers. Content will be target to both students and graduate employers across the West Midlands and London. You will also be responsible for the planning, marketing and running bi-weekly skills programmes that we run to support students into entry level employment.

The ideal applicant will be confident, personable and creative. You will be eager to put forward your own creative ideas and actively support consultants in all aspects of the business. You will be comfortable working both in a team and independently. A proactive approach is a necessity. Applicants will be asked to create an online CityGrad application.
