Graduate level HR Assistant for Global Firm (ID:2623)
We are
currently recruiting for a fantastic HR assistant to join a global firm in
their Birmingham Office, in an initially temporary role that has the
opportunity to become a permanent position. This is the perfect chance for an
ambitious, forward thinking candidate with previous HR experience and great
interpersonal skills who is keen to further their career in a role with the potential
for development.
Duties will
include:
Day to day
HR support for Head Office divisional managers and employees, including managing
staff relationships and dealing with queries promptly
Maintaining
HR records, databases and systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality and producing
reports and correspondences
Working
with HR team to ensure completion of critical weekly, monthly and annual HR
activities
Involvement
in the recruitment process throughout from creation of job adverts through to
conducting interviews and tests, liaising with recruitment agencies and working
on Linkedin
Managing
the new starter process from offer stage through to completion of probationary
period
Assisting
with pay reviews, bonus process, and payroll
Supporting
line managers with all aspects of employee relations, including performance and
absence management, disciplinary procedures, health referrals, and training &
development
Supporting
other areas as necessary such as Early Careers Programme, Talent Management and
Group Reward
General HR
administration and support as required
The ideal
candidate will have experience working under pressure and to tight deadlines, with
the ability to maintain a high standard of professionalism and communication at
all times. You will be able to build and manage relationships with internal and
external stakeholders, while dealing appropriately with confidential and sensitive
information. Previous HR experience is required, and the role will be perfect
for somebody who can take initiative and complete their own work while also
being a great team player.
