Exciting opportunity for a Sales Development Executive to join a leading Organisation based in Birmingham!
£40-45k base salary (+up to 10k commission)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven, commercially astute Sales Development Executive to join a leading organisation based in Birmingham.
This role is ideal for a high-energy, target-focused individual with a strong analytical mindset and the confidence to build trusted relationships at senior level. You’ll take ownership of generating new opportunities, driving outbound activity, and contributing directly to business growth.
The Role
- Identify and target high-potential organisations aligned with strategic growth objectives.
- Drive outbound sales activity including cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach and networking.
- Engage and influence senior decision-makers to generate qualified opportunities.
- Represent the business at industry events and trade shows to expand market presence.
- Qualify prospects and convert conversations into tangible commercial opportunities.
- Maintain a structured, insight-led CRM pipeline to track performance and progression.
Key Requirements
- 6+ years’ proven success in business development, sales, or growth-focused roles.
- Demonstrable experience engaging senior stakeholders and building long-term relationships.
- Self-motivated, resilient and comfortable working autonomously.
- Commercially aware with strong research, CRM and Microsoft Office capability.
- Results-driven with a proactive, opportunity-focused mindset.
