A global business who are world leaders in the field of decarbonisation in the manufacturing sector have a new opening to join their supply chain team. Based west of Birmingham, in the Black Country, the UK head office is made up of a brilliant team of experts in their field and due to business growth have created a new role for someone who wants to develop and grow with the business long-term.
This team primarily works with the UK and Ireland clients, as well as some further afield, and who’s client base includes extensive businesses in automotive, architecture, engineering and public realms. In this position, you would be working in the supply chain and shipping between their manufacturing sites in Europe and their client in the UK&I. The role is substantively a bust and varied admin and coordination role and brings you into the heart of their client services. It requires really strong attention to detail, the ability to juggle and prioritise. You’ll also be working clients as well as internal stakeholders so being a strong rapport builder will be really key. They are a great fun team who take real pride in their work and who genuinely believe in team work. As such you’ll be in the office with your immediate team of 3 but you mae also have the opportunity to travel in the UK and Europe.
This is a real linchpin role of coordinating between technical support, account managers, clients and stakeholders across the business. They have a very strong track record for professional development of their and they are ideally looking for someone who is looking to build a career with them. They are happy to train you on all their systems and processes but you will need to have a basis of the key skills of office administration such as how to write a professional email, have a strong telephone manner, understand how to draft reports and use the basics of spreadsheets or databases. Common sense and solid approach to problem solving are essential!
