An exciting opportunity for a Practise Support Manager!
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Practise Support Manager to join a modern, progressive law firm based near Derby! This is a great opportunity to be a part of a progressive and meaningful law firm.
This role will support a team of dynamic directors and lawyers, where you will be there right-handed person to support team meetings and the demands of the firm and its clients.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the performance of individuals through supporting resources which includes progress meetings, annual appraisals and probation reviews.
• Coach the team for them to develop to their highest potential.
• Seamlessly transition new starters into the organisation, including maternity and transfers, with an awareness and understanding of HR, and specific policies.
• Implement training to support the induction and development of the employee through feedback, and continued performance management.
• Working closely with the Head of LSS to support the wider group.
• Develop relationships with the fee earners to clearly understand client specific requirements, SLA’s/KPIs.
• Management of the recruitment and selection process, ensuring to stay within budget.
• Act as the lead on department projects from implementing to completion.
• Drive and deliver exceptional client service.
• Keep updated of the changes in demand to regulatory changes and effectively implementing these through working with the head of Sept to introduce the service.
• Act as a lead, motivate and develop people.

Key Skills:
• Management qualifications.
• Previous experience in working in a management in a legal or professional service environment.
• Excellent Microsoft Officed skills.
• Previous experience in managing multiple stakeholders and causing change.
• Exceptional communication skills to establish and maintain credible relationships.

The ideal candidate would need previous management experience for this role ideally within legal or professional services and advanced experience working with Microsoft Office programmes.
