You will join the finance team and ensure the firms accounting and financial systems are followed for the payment and pursuit of bills. It is essential to have had previous credit control experience for this role.

The duties for this role would include:

- Regular contact with clients to evaluate credit status of debts, identify and manage risks, negotiate payments and plans with clients and maintaining good cash flow by upholding proper management of debts

- Handle potential queries and issues from clients and staff

- Collaboration with fee earners to discuss terms and conditions for debt repayment

- Assisting in managing the credit control inbox

- Processing card payments, dealing with daily payments, processing requisition slips and distributing reports across the firm

- Providing any necessary training on credit control compliance with standard policies and regulations

You will need to have good communication skills, good decision making skills and the ability to act as a team player.
