A recognised, national law firm is looking for a HR business partner to work in their new modern Birmingham City Centre office! This role is a hybrid, full time, permanent position offering up to 50k a year dependant on experience.


You will work on all people related issues, and responsibilities will include performance and conduct reviews, employee relations, development, recruitment and welfare. Working within the HR department, you will develop the HR policies and lead internal projects.

  • Other responsibilities would include:
    • Managing an complex HR caseload
    • Possess a keen understanding of the internal and external business environment, alongside their demands and challenges to bring HR support
    • Working closely with the HR Co-ordinators to offer advice and to coach line and department managers in day to day management and development of employees through the companies policies and processes such as induction and performance
    • To encourage a positive employee experience and culture
    • Contribution to the development of the HR team and wider firm
    • Work closely with HR Lead on people initiatives and outwork them through performance management processes

    The candidate must have a genuine passion for working within an HR team, be flexible and have an proactive, strong co-ordination and organisation skills, a positive attitude and detail orientated, alongside a professional outlook on all matters of conduct.

    The candidate must have professional services experience ideally within a medium sixed business as well as solid HR Business Partner experience and be qualified in CIPD level 7 or working towards this. It is essential for the candidate to have good IT skills including Microsoft Word and Excel as well as experience In using HR systems.
