My client has an exciting and new opportunity for an Events Project Manager to join their high profile Events team. This is very much a hands-on role requiring someone with a strong Events manager who has managed the physical logistics of events (Both inside and outside) on a large scale. This is a varied role and will entail:

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the ordering and distribution of furniture and equipment for all events
  • Responsible for specifying, ordering, and installing temporary requirements including; toilets, showers, generators, distribution, marquees, tower lights, furniture, equipment for all events.
  • Working with all departments to ensure the specification of the temporary requirements are efficient, effective and the desired standard and within budget.
  • Communicate, plan and coordinate event requirements for the temporary infrastructure within an agreed project plan.
  • Working with all departments to ensure requirements are met.
  • Manage the risk assessment process, carrying out and recording risk assessments In conjunction with the Health & Safety Manager
  • Deliver proactive solutions to logistics problems.
  • Be visible on required on event days as part of the operational delivery team.
  • Manage all monthly hire equipment and company assets,
  • Keeping an up to date asset inventory and maintenance log.
  • Reporting issues and rectifying where possible
  • Manage the repairs and maintenance of stock within budget.

Applicants Must have solid experience managing large scale events and the logistics of events including suppliers, furniture. Equipment etc. both indoor and outdoor. You will also have experience of risk assessments/Health & safety. Experience of project.
