HR Advisor for National Law Firm (ID:4726)
We are currently recruiting for an HR Advisor to join the
team on a 9-12 month fixed term contract for a fantastic National Law Firm
based in Birmingham. This is a great opportunity for somebody with previous HR
advisory experience and a proactive approach who wants to give their all to a new role.
Duties will include:
Taking responsibility for all employee relations issues that
are delegated to you by HRBPs, ensuring consistency and that the correct
process is always followed
Providing absence management support and Occupational Health
referrals to managers and their teams
Giving support and advice to managers on disciplinary, grievance,
and performance management issues including preparing necessary paperwork,
taking minutes at meetings, and maintaining HR records
Supporting wider HR team with onboarding and exit processes
Providing support and working with employees through to the
conclusion of requests such as maternity, paternity, adoption, and flexible working
requests
Answering telephone enquiries and emails that have been
escalated through the HR service desk, providing resolutions as appropriate
Developing and maintaining HR policies and procedures,
ensuring accuracy and legal compliance at all times
Providing active support for organisational design and
change initiatives
Occasionally travelling to other offices in order to provide
support and guidance
The ideal candidate for this role will be CIPD qualified,
with advanced Microsoft Office skills, and extensive knowledge & understanding
of current employment legislation, including its practical implementation. You
will have the confidence in your knowledge to take initiative, suggesting areas
for improvement within the business, and thrive in a pressured environment, meeting
deadlines and taking a flexible approach in order to achieve results. You will
have previous experience working in an advisory capacity within a commercial environment
and possess excellent organisational and time management skills.

This is a full-time, 9-12 month
FTC position, based in their Birmingham office, and is paying £35k annually.
