We are currently recruiting for a Data Analyst to join an exciting tech company in their Birmingham office. This is a permanent role within the finance team, and will involve creating reports & dashboards, developing insights from data for internal and external stakeholders, and breaking down data requests, simplifying them as required. This is a great opportunity for somebody with advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge and strong mathematical ability to advance their career with a growing technology company in Birmingham.

The ideal candidate will have an understanding of business functions, processes & calculations in order to produce reports for internal & external customers at all levels of the business. You will have great attention to detail, the ability to work under pressure, and familiarity with Microsoft Power BI / DAX is preferable but not compulsory. A maths, statistics or similar degree with a 2:1 or equivalent is required for this role, somebody with a natural mathematical ability and great work ethic alongside at least basic knowledge of SQL or similar will be a good fit.
