We are currently recruiting for a Legal Support Manager to join a leading national law firm, recognised for its impressive offices and its supportive, collaborative working culture.
This is a pivotal role within the firm, where you will take responsibility for the smooth and effective delivery of legal support services. You will oversee the day-to-day operations of Legal and Team Assistants, ensuring workloads are appropriately managed, processes run efficiently, and high standards of service are consistently maintained. Acting as a key point of contact across the team, you will play an important role in supporting both operational performance and client service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and support team performance, development, and wellbeing.
- Oversee daily operations, including resource planning, workflow, and workload allocation.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with fee earners to support effective client service delivery.
- Manage team structure, headcount planning, and budgetary requirements.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality.
- Facilitate and lead team meetings, promoting communication and engagement.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and operational standards.
About You
- Previous experience in a managerial role within a legal environment, or a similar role within professional services.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of stakeholders.
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive, forward-thinking, and solutions-focused in your approach.
- Confident and capable leader with a supportive, approachable management style.
