Facilities Coodinator-Part time-TEMP

Birmingham-based commercial property agent currently seeking a reliable and personable Facilities Coordinator to join the team on a temporary, ongoing basis. This is a hands-on, site-based role where you will act as the main point of contact, ensuring the smooth running of the building and supporting both contractors and occupiers.

This position would suit someone with previous experience in facilities, maintenance, or building management who enjoys a varied role and interacting with people on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the main point of contact on site for all facilities-related queries
• Coordinate and manage contractors, including booking them in and directing them on site
• Ensure contractors are properly inducted and aware of where work is required
• Liaise with head office regarding contractor updates and job progress
• Support with basic compliance tasks (with guidance from head office)
• Provide front-of-house support, greeting visitors and assisting occupiers
• Respond to maintenance queries and escalate issues where necessary
• Build strong relationships with occupiers and stakeholders
• Carry out occasional welfare checks and provide a supportive on-site presence
• Gather feedback from occupiers and report back to management

Experience:
• Previous experience in facilities coordination, maintenance, or building management is desirable
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Confident communicator with a friendly and approachable manner
• Able to work independently and take initiative
• Comfortable in a front-facing role with regular interaction with occupiers and contractors
• Reliable, proactive, and adaptable
