An excellent opportunity has arisen for a proactive and personable Assistant Property Manager to join a well-regarded commercial property organisation in Birmingham.
This is a varied and hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys being on-site, building strong tenant relationships, and supporting the smooth day-to-day management of a commercial property portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the day-to-day management of the site, ensuring high standards across all areas of property operations.
- Acting as a professional front-of-house presence, building positive relationships with tenants, visitors, and contractors.
- Coordinating contractor activity, including arranging access, overseeing works, and ensuring compliance with site procedures.
- Responding to tenant queries promptly and effectively, maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Assisting with maintenance coordination, logging issues, and ensuring timely resolution.
- Conducting regular site inspections and welfare checks, reporting any issues as required.
- Liaising with head office and supporting with reporting, updates, and general administrative duties.
- Supporting overall property management functions, ensuring the site is safe, compliant, and well-maintained.
About You:
- Professional, approachable, and confident in dealing with a range of stakeholders.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive, organised, and able to work independently on-site.
- A hands-on approach with a strong sense of responsibility and ownership.
- Previous experience within property, facilities, or a similar environment is advantageous.
