An exciting opportunity for a sharp, detail-driven Paralegal to become a key part of the Legal Contracts Team, for a business consultancy. playing a pivotal role in shaping, analysing, and interpreting construction-sector commercial agreements.
This role is 2-3 days, ideal for someone looking for a part-time role!
Key Responsibilities:
- Take a leading role in shaping, refining, and powering negotiations for a wide spectrum of construction contracts.
- Break down the complexities of the Construction Act and translate them into clear, actionable guidance for project teams.
- Dive deep into legal research to strengthen contract strategies and sharpen risk assessments.
- Decode intricate contractual clauses and deliver polished, concise explanations for both internal teams and external clients.
- Tackle client-facing queries with confidence, including complex or technical challenges tied to construction law and contracts.
- Keep contract records sharp and reliable through meticulous documentation, version management, and tracking.
- Partner with the Contracts Team on compliance reviews, due-diligence checks, and the creation of essential supporting materials.
- Drive ongoing enhancements to contract templates, workflows, and quality standards to elevate operational excellence.
Previous Experience:
- Proven experience in a paralegal, legal assistant, or early-stage contract-focused position where you’ve already begun building your legal foundation.
- A formal legal qualification (LLB SQE or LPC) that demonstrates your commitment to the profession.
- A sharp talent for researching, interpreting, and translating complex legal information into clear, accessible insights.
- Familiarity with contracts.
