We have an exclusive and rare opportunity for Board Secretary and Executive Support Assistant to their CEO, Chairman and wider Leadership team. This role is absolutely key to the team and you will be handling high confidential information, exhibiting discretion and professionalism and at all times. You will live and breathe company values ensuring that these cascade through your day to day work to enable you to be a true ambassador to the Board. This role will be home and office-based (Birmingham) with occasional to other offices where required.
Your role will be to represent the CEO and Chairman dealing with and managing key stakeholders across the business. You will organise, attend and minute Board Meetings alongside a variety of other leadership meetings. You will ensure all members are prepared for each meeting and produce and distribute minutes in a timely fashion. You will support the communication flow throughout the business ensuring consistency in style, form and layout of all written communications.
In addition to the meetings you will be drafting briefing papers and producing documents as well as high-level presentations. You will also provide essential research and provide key analysis where required. The role requires an innovative thinker who can identify and communicate ideas, improvements and knowledge across the business. You will also mentor and support PAs within the business paying a key role in the company PA network. You will also be able to drive projects in the business including CSR, Charity and internal employee engagement.
The successful candidate will have solid experience supporting at Board level dealing with all board meetings, committees, leadership meetings etc and be happy to attend and take minutes. This is a heavy focus of the role. The role requires a strong relationship builder who can work alongside the PA to CEO in a partnership to drive the administrative synergy of the leadership team. This role requires a strategic thinking candidate with strong commercial acumen and business awareness.
