System Improvement Specialist / Super User – Legal Matter Management System
Nottingham - 12-Month FTC (Then reviewed)

We are looking for a detail-driven systems champion to join a leading law firm on a 12-month fixed-term contract, working as part of a newly formed team to embed and improve their client matter management system. If you thrive on making systems work better, understands how a law firm operates, and enjoys being that go-to person for solutions, this could be the perfect role for you.

The day to day:
The successful candidate will be be the firm’s super user for their brand-new client matter system mastering functionality, writing and improving processes, running reports, and troubleshooting issues. This is a hands-on role where you will not only audit and fix data errors but also shape how the system operates now and in the future.
  • Acting as the subject matter expert for the client matter management system
  • Writing and refining process documents, user guides, and best practice workflows.
  • Running reports and monitoring data quality.
  • Investigating issues, conducting audits, and making corrections.
  • Supporting and training colleagues on best use of the system.
  • Working closely with legal teams, IT, and operations to improve functionality and engagement.
Applicants must have:
  • Experience working in a law firm (essential) understanding departments, client matters, and workflows.
  • Strong knowledge of legal or case management systems.
  • Excellent communicator and able to explain technical processes to non-technical users.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and confident challenging the status quo to drive improvements.
  • Organised, proactive, and comfortable in a dynamic environment.
