This role is based in an international law firm in Birmingham City Centre or Manchester City Centre! This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 2–3 years’ experience in a similar role—ideally within professional services or a legal environment—to take the next step in their career and make a tangible impact across the operations and supply chain.

In this varied and hands-on role, you'll support the delivery of our sustainability strategy and responsible business goals, contributing to high-impact projects and ensuring compliance with key environmental standards and frameworks.

Key Responsibilities include Sustainability Reporting, Supply Chain Sustainability, Strategsu and Stakeholder Engagement and internal engagement with duties such as the below:

• Support reporting against frameworks and analysing carbon data, track emissions, and support net-zero planning

• Assist with external benchmarking, submissions, and contribute to the annual Responsible Business Report and Support sustainability assessments in supplier onboarding

• Identify sustainability risks and opportunities in the supply chain

• Engage with suppliers to implement environmental and ethical standards

• Contribute to firmwide sustainability projects aligned with our 2030 vision and track and report progress, support continuous improvement

• Prepare reports and presentations; respond to client sustainability requests and help to plan and deliver sustainability events and awareness campaigns

• 2–3 years’ experience in a sustainability or responsible business role

• Background in professional services or legal sectors (not energy consultancy)

• Strong knowledge of sustainability frameworks and reporting standards
