Hybrid, full-time permanent role based in Birmingham city centre, offering up to £55,000 per annum depending on experience.

An exciting opportunity to work for a nationally-recognised law firm as an HR Business Partner has just become available! Based in Birmingham city centre, the successful applicant will manage a complex HR caseload, working alongside all departments to ensure personnel is at the centre of the firm’s planning, decision-making and strategy. They will be working alongside the HR Coordinator, and reporting into the HR Lead.

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Supporting the day-to-day development and management of HR policies, systems and processes, including onboarding, performance and welfare
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the HR demands, challenges and requirements of both internal and external business areas
  • Promoting and encouraging a positive culture for employees; proactively supporting managers to encourage the motivation, empowerment and retention of staff
  • Teaching and coaching line managers to develop their HR knowledge and skills
  • Collaborating with the HR Lead to run initiatives to support the firm’s HR goals
  • Act as an HR representative for projects throughout the firm
Prospective applicants must have previous HRBP experience, as well as experience supporting line managers in an HR capacity within a similar calibre organisation. They must have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, and excel in both leadership and teamwork.
