This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Officer to join their Birmingham office near Oldbury!
The HR officer will provide first class service to internal employees and outsourced functions by supporting the HR manager. You will also act as a first point contact for any HR enquires by delivering a high performing HR function. This role would be a mix between HR functions and payroll.
The key responsibilities for this role would include:
- Recruitment, onboarding and offboarding for all internal employees and outsourced functions
- Oversight and managing of outsourced functions
- Payroll oversight including maintaining employees payroll records, wages and deductions needed and consolidating information
- Learning and development duties such as organising HR related staff training, liaising with managers on relevant training modules
- Monitoring and reporting for staff functions such as sick leave and process of documentation and reports in regard to HR activities
- Oversight of HR policy schedules, and managing updates
- Other administration duties such as inbound HR calls, arranging HR meetings for employees and advising on policies, procedures and other HR issues
You will need to have at least 2 years’ HR advisory experience with exposure to pay roll or experience working in a similar HR role.
You will need to be professional, have good communication skills and a genuine interest in HR.
