A global property consultancy who manage someone of the most prominent and prestigious commercial real estate globally are seeking a client focused and diligent Assistant Property Coordinator to ensure the operational functions of one of their Birmingham City Centre building is ran smoothly and efficiently. Reporting a highly experience Building Manager, the successful candidate will ideally have worked in a Reception/ Front facing role previously and is keen to take the next step in their career. The successful candidate will be an expert at building relationships with tenants and stakeholders and want to maintain the reputation of the building as being a leading office space in the City.

Day to day you will be working back office alongside the Building Manager, you will help to resolve and escalate any building maintenance issues, liaising with contractors and suppliers, negotiating costs, conducting regular inspections and floor walks, handling queries and complaints from tenants by conducting regular meetings with them. Further to this you will be tasked with all financial management tasks, allocating service charge costs, producing of reports and managing budgets. Further to this, you will be innovative in coming up with ideas for the communal office areas, collaborating with stakeholders and charities to run events and make the office space THE place to be!

The ideal candidate will have worked within an Reception or Property Management role previously or be keen to work within a role which is not purely tied to a desk! You will be an excellent communication and have first class service experience. You will also have excellent IT skills, ideally with knowledge of MS Excel and its functions.
