A leading professional services firm based in Birmingham City Centre are looking to bring onboard a Team Secretary on a part-time basis, to support the team based in their Birmingham office! This is an incredibly exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, driven team, in an all-round role that will allow you to utilise your existing experience and develop both personally and professionally within the organisation long-term! Working as part of a wider support team, you will be encouraged to add value and perform to the best of your ability as part of a reputable firm.

Some of your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Managing diaries, scheduling internal and external meetings, and coordinating and necessary travel and accommodation
• Liaising with internal stakeholders as well as external clients and visitors, taking messages and responding to any telephone and email enquiries in a timely manner
• Taking minutes and notes in meetings, drafting email and letter correspondence, and producing/amending any documentation and reports
• Processing expenses and invoices, liaising with the finance department
• Ensuring all documentation, reports and data stored are in line with the firm’s compliance policies and procedures
• Maintaining and updating the internal database, updating contact information for external stakeholders
• Organising client events and conferences, occasionally attending when necessary
• Utilising your IT and Microsoft Office skills, including Teams and CRM systems daily
• Undertaking any additional administration responsibilities to support the wider team

The ideal candidate will have a proactive and positive attitude towards their work, use their initiative to prioritise their workload and manage their time well, and pay keen attention to detail on all matters, ensuring the best possible support is provided. You must be able to work well and to a high standard, understanding the level of professionalism and urgency required when working within professional services at all times too. Strong IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office packages and systems experience is essential.
