We are currently recruiting for a Paralegal to join an established law firm, working within their Commercial Property department to provide an exceptional level of support to the team and the firm’s clientele. This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate-level individual with relevant experience to develop their skills in a progressive role that may lead to opportunities for growth and development within the firm long-term!

This is a full-time, permanent position paying up to £24k annually depending on experience, with an excellent overall benefits package!

Some of your daily responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Corresponding with clients via telephone, email and letters
Liaising with internal and external stakeholders regularly, building rapport and maintaining strong working relationships with clients, fee earners and the secretarial support staff in the firm
Supporting with Commercial Property transactions, ranging from sales and purchases, re-mortgages, leasehold and freehold properties, both registered and unregistered
Applying for various documents with the Land Registry and other search providers
Drafting, reviewing and amending any legal documentation, ensuring they are issued on time
Producing transaction reports for clients and lenders
Handling all post-completion matters, including submitting Stamp Duty Land Tax Returns and applying for registration with HM Land Registry
Developing a strong working knowledge of the case management system and ensuring everything is stored in line with the firm’s data protection and compliance procedures
Conducting any additional duties to support the wider team, working proactively and with a high level of efficiency at all times

The ideal candidate will have previous legal or professional services experience in a similar role, and have strong academics. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to manage your time efficiently to meet deadlines in a busy, fast-paced environment, and the ability to work proactively as part of a supportive team are all essential skills and qualities for this role!
