We are currently recruiting for an established business based near the Birmingham Business Park, seeking a Payroll Coordinator to join the HR team on a part-time basis! This is an incredible opportunity for the successful candidate to join a dynamic team, in a role where you can utilise your experience as best as possible to support the end-to-end process for their employees.

This is a permanent, part-time role working 25 hours per week, and paying up to £27k on a pro-rata basis. There is free parking available, and ideally the hours would be split over 5 working days.

Some of your daily responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Accurately inputting the monthly payroll for all employees onto the system
• Assisting with any additional calculations for maternity/paternity and overtime etc.
• Managing the general payroll inbox, and handling any telephone and email enquiries from employees regarding their pay
• Work alongside colleagues to produce payroll, HR and monthly MI reports
• Work closely with the Payroll Manager to ensure all payroll, benefits, sickness and annual leave processes are aligned and consistent across the organisation
• Continually work with the wider HR and payroll team to improve processes, including packages and systems
• Ensuring all data and information stored is compliant and in line with data protection and GDPR laws

The successful candidate must have previous experience working within payroll, and be able to work in a busy, fast-paced environment. Confident communication skills, strong attention to detail and good time management is essential. You must be able to work proactively and towards deadlines, have excellent Microsoft Office and IT skills, and existing knowledge of the iTrent payroll software would be an advantage. All team members are encouraged to build strong working relationships, so you must be able to work well both independently as well as part of a team!
