A international law firm is looking to expand their team by adding a HR assistant in either their London or Birmingham branch. This firm is looking for a flexible and committed individual, who is happy to work on a hybrid system (2 days in office and 3 days at home) and therefore will have work independently. An individual who is proactive with a strong attention to detail and excellent proven organizational skills. This is a team focused role where you will be reporting to four HR managers and the HR director therefore communication skills are essential.
Some Key responsibilities:
• Dealing with day to day inquiries and know who to escalate issues to.
• Insuring accuracy of data on the data management system and awareness of employment law developments and keeping HR templates up to date.
• Preparing contract variations arranging exit interviews and any other meetings necessary.
• Managing the flow of monthly payroll data liaising with employees, HR managers and payroll.
• Running of reports and using Excel to provide information to generalist team.
• Calculating and recording turnover and absence information on the monthly Management Committee report.
• Processing invoices, liaising with external providers and the Finance department as necessary.
• Liaising with the Risk and Compliance team to ensure HR data management compliance.
• Overseeing the 3 and 6 month reviews and end of probation processes.
What you’ll need for this role:
• Previous experience in providing administrative HR support to a busy HR team.
• Proven ability to deal with confidential matters with discretion.
• Demonstrable good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages in particular Word & Excel.
• May have or be working towards a CIPD level of qualification
