Working in the headquarters of a national brand based south of Birmingham this role will work within the team supporting the change management business stream and those that audit business risk. You will support a fantastic team of motivated and likeminded people who have a great team ethos and are specialists in what they do.

It is a great opportunity to put skills gained in academic study in to practice and to build your relevant experience. The team look in to all areas of data protection, cyber security and business risk and this role will support that team, initially with queries on data protection. You will take queries, gather relevant information, investigate the details and analyse them alongside the group data policy and GDPR legislation. You will prepare a report, including any information, redacting sensitive data where necessary. Alongside this you will manage the group inbox, distributing emails, replying and gathering further information. You will also be working with the team spreadsheets pulling together the MI reporting for the team.

Being able to gather information, produce basic reports and track information on excel is key. A background in Law, other analytical humanities degree such as History or English as well as business and finance based degrees are all a great fit for this team. Being able to keep on top of multiple workstreams at the same time and being well organised are important.

The team operate a 35 hour working week Monday to Friday (usually 9-5 or 8-4) and offer at least 2-3 days home working per week if desired. They operate a very flexible day as long as meetings and team activities are covered, so if you need to take longer lunch break to pop to the shops or fancy going for a run, this team work around that. They have a great team culture, and the role is busy and varied. There are also excellent opportunities long-term with the wider business who are an award winning employer.
