We are looking for an individual with a great head for business and the ability to apply foresight to a national energy business strategy. This is a role solely dedicated to supporting the  business through a rapid expansion phase to help them achieve their objectives of the business through acting as the point of contact for business development and all client relationships. This is a varied role carrying a vast amount of responsibility and will require the successful applicant to implement the following responsibilities: 

  • Assistance in the acquisition of new business 

  • Conducting physical visits within offices building relationships with key stakeholders 

  • Direct liaison with the Senior Management Team to build on existing campaigns targeting specific areas of business as well as effective and prompt follow up 

  • Support the national bid team through the leadership in client contracts and maintaining client databases working alongside the central data team 

  • Full and intuitive research into client targets and new business opportunities 

  • Working with all internal parties in order to ensure all marketing collateral is created to brief, on time and within agreed budget including visual and content creation 

  • Management of external website content 

  • Using internal systems in order to develop and produce newsletters as well as client emails 

All applicants must be able to demonstrate the above skills within previous roles within a fast-paced business development/ client relationship based role. Ideally you will have exposure to working within the energy sector though this is not essential. This business is located in Birmingham City Centre and boasts fantastic benefits package. Due to the nature of this role, you must be happy to conduct regular national travel to sits (full car allowance).  

This role isn’t a classic Business Development role, rather it would suit someone who loves building relationships and wants to be a part of an amazing team who are all working to the same collective.
