Bids Programme Manager – Remote Working (ID:7279)
We are currently recruiting for a fantastic Bids Programme Manager
to come onboard a charity on a contract basis until March 2022, with the
potential for extension through to June 2022. This is a great opportunity for someone
who has previous Bids experience, and wants to support the charity through several
significant service contracts through a new public procurement process, requiring
a transformation programme. This position is paying circa £600 per day, and is
remote, with some travel to Birmingham & London as required.
Duties will include:
Delivering a programme of activity for the delivery of
submitted bids including identifying departmental responsibilities, tasks,
timelines, dependencies, resource needs and risks
Full understanding of contract SLA and KPI’s
Delivering a draft Contract Management Plan as per proposals
and regulatory requirements
Ensuring systems will be in place for appropriate contract
level oversight of the activities including technical development/support, operations
and marketing/referrals
Working with delivery teams and partners to resolve operation
issues quickly ensuring that SLA/KPIs will be achieved
Setting contract level priorities for the delivery teams to
ensure task completion and coordinates work activities with others
Supporting appropriate oversight of relevant supply chain
partners and manage initial negotiations with named supply chain partners
operating across the contract to ensure delivery levels will be maintained and
improvement initiatives identified and implemented
Managing or supporting initial contract negotiation
Identifying departmental requirements for the 2022 Business
Plan
The ideal candidate will have previous Bid Management experience,
having worked with project management methodologies including project plans, identifying
dependencies & risks, benchmarking, and setting performance delivery management
processes. You will have excellent reporting & presentation skills; experience maintaining financial oversight; and the
ability to engage with cross-functional teams of stakeholders in order to achieve
shared objectives. If you are confident managing relationships with various
internal & external stakeholders and have experience working to KPIs while consistently
maintaining attention to detail and quality under pressure then this could be a
great opportunity for you.
