We are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity to join a national business, based in their HQ in central Birmingham. This is an ongoing temporary role, with great potential for long term opportunities within the business, either staying in this role or elsewhere.

 

Duties will include:

Troubleshooting hardware and software issues for various devices & equipment

Taking part in upskilling initiatives in order to increase your own knowledge

Proactively seeking to streamline and automate tasks where possible

Acting as an escalation point for 1st line team members

Providing support to users via phone, email, self service, IM, or any other appropriate methods

Tracking and managing incidents using internal system

Suggesting updates to self-help service’s call scripting

Maintaining, updating and improving process documentation

Escalating problems to management or suppliers as appropriate

 

The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft systems and applications, mobile devices and applications, and IT infrastructure such as network & server knowledge. You will have good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise with internal & external stakeholders, and clearly communicate with service users in order to troubleshoot their IT issues. This is a full-time, temporary position, based in Birmingham, and is paying £10-£13.50 per hour.
