Katie Bard are seeking candidates with Front of House Reception experience for a brand-new role working at the central Birmingham office of a global professional-services brand. Due to the nature of the position, this role will be entirely office based on full-time working pattern during weekdays only.
The role is split between reception duties and more administrative tasks. Key responsibilities include...
- Being the first point of call for all visitors and staff to the office - assisting with signing-in guests and offering them a warm & friendly welcome to the firm
- Operating the switchboard, answering all incoming calls and directing them appropriately, as well as taking messages when required
- Physical and electronic filing, including opening & closing, and ensuring that everything is up-to-date
- Setting up video and conference calls
- Taking responsibility for the management of the meeting rooms, ensuring the all bookings are recorded, setting up and clearing down
- Assisting with events, including the preparation of the meeting rooms and conference facilities
- Reprographic work - scanning, photocopying, printing & filing
- Providing support to the wider Administrative team when required
Ideal candidate profile...
- Previous experience from a Reception / Front of House position, or customer-focused role
- Excellent face-to-face customer service skills, as well as over the telephone and via email
- Strong IT ability, including intermediate knowledge of the Microsoft Office package
- Outstanding communication skills to people at all levels
