An International Law firm based in Birmingham are looking to recruit a Legal Recruiter to support their wider global in-house recruitment and resourcing team. This role supports the team during a period of growth.

The role is ideal for a recruiter who knows how to attract and retain strong legal candidates in the market places and values the importance of the candidate journey. It would suit an in-house recruiter with legal experience looking for a change or a legal recruiter looking to move away from agency into an in-house role.

This role is varied and busy with stakeholder manager at the heart of the role. The role will be to develop and maintain strong working relationships with hiring manager to understand their teams’ hiring needs, capabilities and knowledge requirements/gaps, business and team dynamics, and forming recruitment plans. You will:

  • Lead vacancy consultation discussions with hiring managers and document recruitment plans which include: role requirements, agreed time-frames, roles, and responsibilities of all involved.
  • Produce engaging, comprehensive job descriptions and adverts for each role, following stakeholder brief.
  • Accountability for managing the hiring manager experience, ensuring regular hiring updates, and ensuring high quality, diverse shortlists are presented.
  • Interviewing candidates in line with specific requirements and provide short-list to stakeholders within agreed timescales.
  • Ensuring a high touch candidate experience through to offer stage via various methods of communication driving efficient candidate feedback and offer management.
  • Building and maintaining market knowledge and candidate pool and available information regarding competitor activity. 
  • Proactively raising he profile of the brand eg Participating in industry relevant recruitment focussed events.
  • Guide and consult with stakeholders and HR with recruitment best practice.

Applicants must have experience of Legal Recruitment including fee earning in an agency or in-house environment.
