Medical Legal Assistant for National Law Firm (ID:4489)
We are currently recruiting for a legal assistant to
join a fantastic national law firm in their medical team, liaising with clients
who have relevant claims such as Personal Injury or Criminal Negligence. The role
will involve detailed analysis of documents and therefore will be a good fit for
somebody who has great attention to detail and prior knowledge of the medical
field, having previously held a relevant position.
Duties will include:
Analysing the initial merits of potential claims when
clients first contact the firm
Detailed analysis of various documents and medical records
Organising and collating records, and approaching medical
experts for observations and opinions
Communicating with potential new clients via phone
and email, consistently providing a great service and personable approach
Closely liaising with fee earners running each case,
taking on administrative duties including routine correspondence
Assisting with production of marketing materials, newsletters
and articles as required
This is a great opportunity for somebody who has
previous experience in the medical field, either clinical or administrative,
and is keen to get stuck into a new permanent role for a family-orientated national
law firm. You will have great communication skills, and be comfortable liaising
with clients in difficult personal circumstances, always maintaining confidentiality,
professionalism, and attention to detail. Proactivity, positivity and adaptability
are key for this varied and rewarding role.

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity, based
in their office in Birmingham City Centre, and is paying £22-25k annually.
