We are looking for a dynamic PMO Lead with an analytical mindset, who is confident of their own capability to work without day to day supervision and handle difficult negotiations and conversations with internal and external stakeholders. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking for a part time role 2 days a week, with an excellent rate of pay on a temporary basis starting in the new year until the end of February but could be extended past this.. It will be primarily working remotely with occasional attendance at the office just outside of Birmingham.

Duties of the role will include:

Liaising with key internal and external stakeholders as well as legal and professional advisors, to progress the project

Responsibility for project documentation’s compliance with legal and regulatory requirements

Coordinate relevant project data and produce information to be presented for review

Financial responsibilities, such as raising POs and matching invoices, analysing project budgets, and resource allocation

Create and maintain a project plan, project documentation, risk and issues log, and project review reports

Be self-sufficient as a project manager, able to prioritize and adjust plans as necessary to facilitate achievement of the project

Ensure a safe working environment in accordance with Health & Safety requirements

Keep up to date with current regulations, attending training as required, in order to update staff and managers on any changes.

The successful candidate will be tactful, resilient, and have experience managing key transformation projects. A Project Qualification such as PRINCE2 is desirable but not essential, as is experience with a company going through significant organizational change. You will have great communication skills and be proficient in IT, including MS Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
