A senior analyst position working in varied function both on fund management as well as investment analysis for a leading UK investment firm. This role is based within a small team and offers an exceptional opportunity to both get hands on with the management of investment portfolios as well as the background micro- and macro-economic research that underpins guides the firm’s strategy on their investment schemes.

You will have strong written communication skills, being able to analyse and understand complex economic and financial data and express these findings in an insightful, clear and “client friendly” way. Using excel to analyse and create reports will be second nature and you should be keen to use your excellent knowledge of UK investment funds as well as wider economic theory.

Working on the investment administration you will bring excellent knowledge of the UK investment market, whether that be from working whiten an IFA recommending investment to clients or from a stockbrokers. Ideally you will also have started professional qualifications in this area, such is the CISI  Certificate in Investment Management (level 4 and above ideal) or similar. Your knowledge will also being likely to cover experience of having used Bloomberg and Morningstar Direct, though not essential.

You will have excellent attention to detail, a desire to develop and progress your career within investment management and excellent interpersonal skills; being able to develop rapport with a wide range of clients from a variety of backgrounds.
