Legal Cashier for Leading International Firm in City Centre (ID:2396)
A leading global law
firm based in Birmingham city centre have an exciting opportunity for an
experienced Legal Cashier to come on board and join their incredible organisation!
This is a permanent position with the opportunity to develop your existing skill
set and experience in a dynamic, busy environment!
This role will
primarily involve:
· Importing daily
BACS receipts, and processing transfers, foreign payments, and BACS payments in
line with company procedures
· Performing SAR
compliance checks as well as producing and checking daily SAR breach reports
· Ensuring decisions
on receipts and payments are in line with SAR, the firm, and the client’s
requirements
· Ensuring all
client services provided are in line with the firm’s regulatory and compliance
standards, identifying areas for improvement and updating all systems and
documentation with any changes
· Undertaking any
additional administrative duties within the wider finance department, including
the filing of all relevant transaction paperwork
Attention to
detail and accuracy in this role is essential. You must be able to use your own
initiative to work methodically with high volumes and towards tight deadlines, always
looking for areas for improvement in systems and processes. As always for this
organisation, a team player with a positive attitude and collaborative approach
to their work is a must!
The
successful candidate will have extremely strong IT and Microsoft Office skills with
experience in a similar role, and maintain an excellent working knowledge of legal
processes and the Solicitor’s Accounts Rules (SAR).
