An established Global Law firm is seeking an individual to join their HR team as a HR Advisor. They are looking for someone who can join a fast paced team and step into the role with a pro-active attitude and confidence in their attention to detail. Previous experience within a similar role is essential as this role requires you to hit the ground running due to it being a 12 month maternity cover. This role however does have the ability to go permanent after the 12 months.
Some key responsibilities:
• Work closely with the HR Business Partner of the area of the business they have been partnered with
• Provide HR policy and procedure advice, undertake and support on straightforward employee conversations e.g. probation reviews, sickness absence management, maternity and paternity provision etc.
• To take responsibility for and coordinate the firms benefits, coordination of the firms work experience offering.
• Monitor the completion and quality of 121s and 6 monthly check ins and coordination of more complex induction and onboarding issues.
• Actively monitor the probation process for all new starters ensuring all meetings are held, documented and line managers are supported when dealing with underperforming employees.
• To be responsible for conducting meaningful learning-oriented exit interviews and communicating these to the HRBP and HR Manager to ensure learning is taken forward and issues raised.
• To lead and take responsibility for HR projects as determined in line with priorities and team resource such as Gender Pay Gap reporting, benefits systems implementation and processes
• To work as a full participating member of the HR team, within the HR and Office Services part of the Central Management Team.
