We are currently recruiting for a Legal Assistant to join an established national law firm, providing an exceptional level of administrative support to the team and the firm’s clientele. This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate-level individual with previous professional services experience to develop their skills in a progressive role that may lead to opportunities for growth and development within the firm long-term!

Some of your daily responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Managing diaries, scheduling meetings and acting as a point of contact for clients
• Liaising with clients and developing rapport, dealing with any general enquiries and providing an exceptional level of clients service
• Opening, closing and archiving client files, recording financial assets and managing correspondence
• Supporting with case progression, assisting with the completion of relevant documents, forms and applications towards deadlines
• Producing any reports and reconciling accounts, liaising with the firm’s financial advisors and case managers to oversee payments
• Managing all paper and electronic files, ensuring all information is recorded and updated accurately on the case management system
• Provide additional administrative support to the wider team when required

The ideal candidate will have previous administrative experience, ideally within legal or professional services. You must have a proactive approach to your work, confidence managing a high-volume workload and the ability to work at a fast pace when completing work to tight deadlines. This is a full-time, 6M FTC position paying initially £19k annually depending on experience. The firm has a flexible office-based/home-working approach for all employees.
